Wakefield Wheeled Cats

Wakefield’s only Roller Derby team, the Wakey Wheeled Cats are an all-female, over 18s team, based at Lightwaves.

Roller derby is a fast-paced, full contact sport played on a flat oval track, and the fastest growing sport in the country.

You don’t need to be able to skate to join, as The Cats will teach you everything you need to know to be safe and effective on your skates. There is separate training sessions for both beginners and experienced skaters.
